This beautifully hand carved Ocean Jasper owl figurine has lovely color patterns and the level of detail is stunning! The Obsidian eyes and natural geode raw spot for one of the ears give this figurine such character, and the line of Quartz running through the carving is quite eye-catching. The owl measures app. 3 3/4" tall by 3 5/8" by 1 5/8" and weighs 369 grams.
Found only in the country of Madagascar, Ocean Jasper often contains a mesmerizing blend of swirls, bands, and "bull's eyes" of pink, green, yellow, and brown. Sometimes associated with the lost continent of Atlantis due to the colorations and swirls resembling the waves of the sea, Ocean Jasper is often used as a balancing stone for aligning the chakras (throat, solar plexus and heart, in particular).
