The colorization of this hand-carved Indonesian Agate hippo figurine is absolutely wondrous! The carving measures app. 6" long by 3 1/4" tall by 2" wide and weighs 616 grams (1.35 lbs).
Agate is believed to be a charm of luck, used to ward off threats and to attract good fortune. It also symbolizes harmony and balance, and tends to impart a sense of safety when it is in the vicinity.
