This lovely free-standing Ammonite fossil has a lizard carved into it! As if that wasn't spectacular enough, the specimen is also UV reactive! This amazing piece would make excellent gift for a collector.
The specimen measures app. 4 1/2" by 4" by 1 1/4" and weighs 307 grams.
Ammonite are from a group of mollusks which date back to nearly 420 million years ago and fell extinct approximately 60 million years ago.
Metaphysically, the shape of the Ammonite is viewed as a symbol of change and positive motion.
